Families at government schools receive the Placement Information Pack for Parents/Carers (for the 2027 school year) from their primary school.
Only families at non-government primary schools (Catholic, Independent, home educated or other) can access this pack here(coming soon).

By 8 May 2026:
Closing date for families at government primary schools to return the Application for Year 7 Placement 2027 Form to their primary school.
Families at non-government primary schools must email this completed form directly to us at enrolmentsb@willihigh.vic.edu.au by this date.
Wednesday 24 2026:
Families at government primary schools are notified of the outcome of their application by their primary school. Families at non-government primary schools are notified of their application outcome by Williamstown High School or another school listed in their preference list.
From 25 June 2026:
Williamstown High School sends families that have been offered a place a welcome letter affirming their acceptance of our offer.
Families that have not been offered a place can commence lodging a written non-placement appeal to us using the official Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Placement Appeal Form. Government primary schools will provide families with this form and assist with this process. Families from non-government schools can contact enrolmentsb@willihigh.vic.edu.au to access this form.
Term Three
From 13 July 2026:
Families who have accepted our offer will be sent information regarding our Select Entry Accelerated Learning (SEAL) program, Accelerated Sports program, Instrumental Music program, 2027 Year 7 camp and other administrative information.
17 July 2026:
Closing date for families to lodge the Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Placement Appeal Form to enrolmentsb@willihigh.vic.edu.au.
By 4 August 2026:
Closing date for families who have lodged the Year 6 to Year 7 Transition Placement Appeal Form to have received a written notification of the appeal outcome. Families who have been unsuccessful in their appeal to us can refer their appeal to the applicable Regional Director. Government primary schools will provide families with information regarding this process. Non-government school families can contact enrolmentsb@willihigh.vic.edu.au.
By 11 August 2026:
All families at government primary schools return their Year 7 Placement Acceptance Slip to their child’s government primary school, even if the child will be attending a Catholic or Independent school.
By 18 August 2026:
Closing date for families to refer their appeal to the applicable Regional Director.
Term Four
By 16 October 2026:
Regions notify families, in writing, of the outcome of their non-placement appeal.
26 October 2026:
Williamstown High School Year 7 (2027) Family Information Evening.
From 30 November 2026:
Information sent to families regarding the upcoming Orientation Day at Williamstown High School.
8 December 2026:
Orientation Day for all Year 6 students (Year 7 2027).
