Williamstown High School Ex-Students and Staff Association Inc. A0041347A is an important and valued part of our school community. It provides a great way to keep in touch with what is happening currently at the school and also to renew old acquaintances and keep in touch with your old school mates.

Objective

To provide a forum for ex-students to establish and maintain contact with the school and their peers.
To inform ex-students about the activities of the school and to foster and maintain interaction between the school and its ex-students.
To engender support for the school.
To continue to develop the Scholarship Fund and set guidelines for its administration.

Subscription fee is $15 per annum and members receive four copies of “The Anchor” each year.

Regular reunions are held at the school and six scholarships are presented to Year 9 to Year 11 students annually.

Annual Reunion

The Annual Reunion has usually been held on the morning of the last senior assembly for the year. There was no reunion in either 2020 or 2021 due to the coronavirus lockdowns. More details will be posted when available.

Class Photographs

The Association is trying to build-up a complete collection of WHS form photos, including identification of the students in each photograph.

Here is a chart of the 1951-1960 photos needed by the Association. We are very keen to complete our files for these years before the photos are lost forever. We have few class photos prior to 1951 and copies of these are also very welcome.

High Tide

The school’s annual magazine High Tide has been published almost every year since 1921. We have been able to make most of them available through the State Library’s Victorian Collections web site, and other copies are available for inspection in the School Library.
