Last week the radio club at Bayview participated in a two-day radio incursion with Live FM, a local radio station, as part of the BE LIKE HER LIVE initiative.
The BE LIKE HER LIVE initiative is a media project that has female and male students in schools co-hosting live radio interviews with women who have excelled in male dominated industries, and other selected fields. The media content produced during this program will be used to educate others in our community about gender equity, respect for women and female empowerment, in an innovative and student-driven way.
