The time has come to collect, count and conclude our “Loose Change” Money Box Campaign Competition. This campaign plays an important role in raising the necessary funds that the school requires to build the WHS Centenary Theatre.
Reusable money boxes were distributed to all students in year 7 at the beginning of term two and they have been continually encouraged to promote our theatre fund by raising as much money as possible through donations from family, friends and the local community.
Students are invited to submit their money box on Thursday 18 June before school or during recess for weighing. A “Loose Change” Money Box Counting table will be set up in the atrium where students will be able to submit their contributions.
Each money box will be individually weighed with two rewards presented to:
- An individual student whose money box has the greatest weight
- The homegroup who has the greatest weight collected.
All money raised will go directly to the theatre and we really appreciate your support in making this theatre a reality for our students and for the future generations of Williamstown High
