It has been an extraordinary year so far and our school community has been impacted by various events. We sincerely hope that all our Williamstown High school families are starting to experience some normality as our children start to return to school. The PFA have had to change things up a little but remain committed to running our normal activities.
The Scouts & Schools Monster Raffle (made available through Scouts Victoria community program) is going ahead in 2020. Where possible we would again greatly appreciate your donation.
Over 100 prizes to be won including a car, 2 QLD holidays and many other great lifestyle vouchers!
Tickets will be on sale at the start of Term 3 with each family receiving one booklet of 10 tickets at $2 each (Total $20) via the post. The school receives $1.50 back from each ticket sold.
We are overwhelmed by the support from Willi High families for this year’s PFA major fundraiser – the Scouts and Schools Monster Raffle.
Despite the challenges facing us all in 2020, the families of Williamstown High School have been incredibly generous in both purchasing tickets, and making the extra effort to return the tickets/payment form when most of our kids aren’t physically at school.
Thanks to all of the families who have supported Willi High through purchasing raffle tickets this year.
Your generosity will benefit our kids for years to come – money raised by the PFA goes towards ‘extras’ to enrich students’ experiences at Willi High. In the past, money raised in the Monster Raffle has contributed towards:
- Lunchtime recreation – outdoor table tennis tables and the giant Scrabble board
- The Arts – the new high-quality printer, and curtains for the Drama room
- Equipment for the Breakfast Club and Food Tech classes
The organisers have announced that the draw date for this raffle has been moved from 3 Sept to 4 November – this is due to lockdown restrictions.
Returning ticket stubs and payment form:
The letter accompanying the raffle tickets was written pre-lockdown 2.0 so we wanted to clarify directions to return ticket stubs and payment forms.
All tickets must be returned to our Pasco campus or please return ticket stubs and the payment form in the post. We do need unsold tickets returned and accounted for – please return as above.
The last date for tickets/payment to be received at the Pasco campus is 4 November.
