Last weekend our Aerobics teams competed in another State Aerobics competition. Without a doubt, the girls and our coaches did us so proud! Below are the results from the competition:
Stage 1 Team:
Came 2nd in the Year 7-12 section with 69 points
Fantastic achievement! Especially given the drastic change in team numbers just 3 days before the competition. From 9 to 6! Well done to all team members for showing good sportsmanship and positive attitude.
Stage 2 Team:
Came 6th in their section with 76 points and invited to Nationals.
Coming in 6th place and still being invited to the National level just shows what a high standard they showed and how competitive that section is. Well done!
Stage 3 Team:
Came 2nd in their section
This team exemplifies what it is to be a team. One of the girls got a foot injury on the day and couldn’t perform. This caused them to fall below the minimum of 6 competitors in a team.
The 5 girls gave it their BEST shot. The soloist Dasha stepped in to give them a fighting chance (bringing them back to the minimum numbers).
Soloist Dasha Banjanin
Came 1st in her Stage 3 Solo and has been invited to Nationals.
Came 2nd in her Secondary Audition section and invited to Nationals.
Fantastic effort! Well done on attempting to balance being in Year 12 and working on all your Aerobics routines.
We are extremely proud of all students involved and thank Ms Withers, Ms Gaylard & Ms Comyns for their guidance and support!
